Adult Children of Aging Parents
ACAP provides education, resources, and community support for adult children caring for aging parents, while also emphasizing caregiver self-care and proactive planning.
ACAP chapters host free monthly programs led by trusted senior-care professionals, covering topics such as elder law, home care, hospice, senior placement, and coordinated support services. These forums offer a practical, welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and connect with others navigating similar challenges.
ACAP Cobb & Cherokee meets in person on the third Thursday of each month, 6:30–8:00 PM, at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Marietta. Attendance is always free.
ACAP Decatur meets every first Thursday of each month, 6:00-7:00pm, at Oak Grove United Methodist church in Decatur. Attendance is always free.
Jeff and Jan serve on the ACAP Cobb–Cherokee team, while Ryan serves on the Decatur chapter allowing our team to support families across multiple communities and meet clients where they are throughout the metro area.
Atlanta Senior Care Network Niche
The Atlanta Senior Care Network Niche is a non-profit organization comprised of professionals who provide services and products to Seniors in the Metro-Atlanta area.
Through our monthly networking meetings, we stay informed of local trends in all aspects of healthy and effective Senior living. These meetings also allow us to stay connected with the top professional providers of health-related Senior care. This enables each of us to be able to inform the families we serve about the most current options for their loved one’s care.

We network with each other to make sure we have the right resources to take care of our seniors. We love what we do and are always looking for ways to support each other and each county we work with.

Established in 2006, Dekalb Senior Provider Network, known as DSPN, is a group of professionals that specialize in services that cater to the senior adults of Dekalb County. DSPN is passionate about supporting each other and the senior community that we serve.
Ryan has served as a Social Media Board Member of the DeKalb Senior Providers Network (DSPN) since 2023.
