What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select "Remember Me", your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
What we do with the information
If an email address is submitted to us, it may or may not be added to our newsletter. When an email is received, we attempt to answer the emails within 2 hours or less, during normal business hours. We do not sell information submitted through a contact form. When you submit a form, you are agreeing to be contacted by Us. We will use your contact information for our sole purposes until you personally grant us permission to share the information.
By submitting a request to share your information through a form on our web site, you are granting permission for us to share your information.

Who we share your data with
We share your data with the vendors and third party vendors that you request us to share you data with. We will forward your information to a vendor for them to reach out to you. However, you select which vendor we are allowed to send the information to.
We do not share your information with any outside organizations from what is listed with Us at the time the inquiry was made.
Your sensitive information is not stored online or in the cloud. We keep your information as secure as reasonably possible.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Your contact information
Your contact information will not be traded or sold. We take every reasonable measure to ensure that your information is safe. We do not store your data on the site aside from the cookies that are used for demographic purposes.
If we collect data in a form, that data is temporarily stored on our server until the email is validated, at which point we remove the stored content. Any data we store does not reflect the user in any way that we deem to be a security risk. Your email address will be stored with the data as the contact point for the user. You must use a real email address in order for us to reach out to you in response to your form submission.
Additional information
How we protect your data
We only store the data temporarily. We do not collect personal or identifying information over the internet. No identity documents are requested via this website. If you see an opportunity to upload private data, please let us know immediately. We never intend to collect private and identifying information.
What data breach procedures we have in place
In the course of a data breach, we are prepared to inform everyone that is affected by said breach. A data breach would be declared as unauthorized use of our website or data stored on our website. We make every reasonable attempt to secure our website. However, there are opportunities for attempted unauthorized use of the website that are changing on a regular basis. We can only maintain a reasonable amount of security before the security model becomes a burden to the user. Therefore, we will continually update the security of the website. By using this site, you are agreeing that the amount of security that we are using is reasonable for the amount of data that we are collecting. By continuing to use this website, you are consenting to your voluntarily submitted data being used to reach you.
What third parties we receive data from
We use Google Analytics as well as WordPress to gather data about our users. Both of these programs will gather cookies and other data from your computer. Please be advised that if you do not want your data used in this way, you may leave our website at any time.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
We primarily gather data to perceive the functionality of our website. This data is used to determine how successful the website, including SEO, is. We also use this data to assist in making changes to the website. We do not automate decision making on this website. We may use a CRM to gather data like email addresses. The email software that we choose to use will then be set up to automatically send emails.
